  Designed algorithms to learn the distribution of valuations of advertisers from historical bidding behaviors
  Improved the prediction accuracy of advertisers’ bids when the auction mechanism changes

  Mentor: Dr. Aditya Pal, Manager: Dr. Michelle Zhou
  Designed a system to accurately predict the emotions of social media users.
  Integrated the system in the IBM Watson Personality Analytics platform.
  Published a paper in IJCAI 2015 and filed a patent with the Watson group [IBM Press]
